Steve is a managing director of Foley Ventures and brings years of experience in mergers, acquisitions, leveraged recapitalizations, and buyouts to the team. Steve also has experience with venture capital and private equity fund formation; public and private offerings of equity and debt securities; public corporation securities laws and reporting compliance; and corporate governance. He is a partner with Foley & Lardner LLP and the co-chair of the firm’s national Transactional & Securities Practice.
Steve serves on the board of directors of the Milwaukee Economic Development Corporation (quasi-public agency which provides funding to developing companies) and several privately held growth companies. He previously served on the board of Fresh Brands, Inc. (NASDAQ: FRSH) (audit committee and corporate governance committee chairman). Susan is a managing director of Foley Ventures and brings 30 years of investment and legal experience to the Foley Ventures team. She is highly skilled in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, initial public offerings, and related securities transactions. She is the managing partner of the Boston office of Foley & Lardner LLP, a chair of the firm’s Technology Industry Team, and serves on the firm’s national management committee.
